BELOW THE FOLD

Starting in December of 2021, we pivoted the theme of our company from “Design, Build, Evolve, and Harmonize” to a more ubiquitous “Everything Connected“. It allowed us to put everything in perspective to articulate the basis, definition, strategy, and go-forward plan for our company. This enables us to be prominent in the future of automation – be it industrial, infrastructure, transportation and/or mobility. We will still adhere to the design, build evolve and harmonize theme. Our smart products and connected services will serve to prove and improve the ecosystem we are building. As such, all of our solutions will conform to the same DNA so that all aspects of make, manage, move, market, and maintain (our 5 Ms) are coordinated.

In our brief existence, we have contemplated, learned, and ideated to understand and define the next new – both newly invented as well as re-imagined. We have conceptualized and iterated on what it would entail to build products and solutions that would be sensible, intelligent, viable and usable. Everything Connected will define our theme, summarize our intent, and accelerate our momentum to quickly grow into a recognizable and ubiquitous brand. As we plan to be a global leader in enterprise technology, automation, and the creation of smart and connected products, we understand we must focus on innovation, smart ways of manufacturing, and of creating the best user experiences closely dovetailing with customer’s needs. We believe we and our consumers are better together and that, together, we can make a real difference in the world around us.

Knowing is better than hoping. Our goal is to create digital, automated, and connected systems with actionable intelligence. We believe that the best way to achieve it is do data-driven decision making.

  • We are committed to making sure that the decisions we make are based on the best and most accurate data available. We use data to discover insights and trends, and then use those insights to develop new products and solutions that meet our customer’s needs.
  • We are committed to making sure that our solutions are easy to use, secure, and reliable. We strive to keep our products and solutions up to date with the latest technology and innovations. We believe that the best way to achieve this is by staying ahead of the curve and being proactive about our product development process.
  • We are committed to maintaining a strong ethical code of conduct and will strive to ensure that our products and solutions are designed with respect for people and the environment. We will strive to ensure that our solutions are designed to be safe, secure, and respectful of the user data. We believe this is the best way to ensure that our products and solutions are used responsibly and are trusted in the marketplace.

We believe that collaboration is key. We believe in working together with our partners to create meaningful solutions that will help to make a difference in the world. We are committed to fostering relationships with our partners to ensure that our solutions are reliable, secure, and easy to use.

Numorpho Cybernetic Systems (NUMO) is a company based in Chicago, Illinois that aims to use intelligent techniques and data-driven decision making to build smart, connected, and sustainable products through the use of engineering, technology, data management, AI, and cybernetics. NUMO believes in the importance of “people, process, and technology” and works to provide a basis for innovation, optimization, and harmonization in various industries.

NUMO focuses on product development, smart manufacturing, information technology, operational processes, and sustained customer enablement to create solutions that are sensible, intelligent, viable, and usable. NUMO aims to be a global leader in enterprise technology, automation, and the creation of smart and connected products and services.

NUMO_BorromeanKnot The Borromean Knot, depicted alongside, for us @NUMO signifies the coupling between the different aspects of our business to coordinate and harmonize our processes.

The Borromean Knot is composed of three mutually interlocked rings. It is named after the Italian Renaissance family who used them on their coat of arms. No two rings are linked, so if any one of the rings is cut, all three rings fall apart. The beauty and subtlety of the 3 Borromean rings is that each pair are unlinked but the triple holds together. This mysterious property had, in medieval times, theological (even Trinitarian) overtones which is why it appealed to Popes, and would-be popes, like the Borromeo family. Newton might have heard of this mystery but, as a secret unitarian in Trinity College, he would have kept off of such dangerous ground. Gauss, Faraday, and Maxwell explained electro-magnetism in terms of such links.

As we evolve our multi-modal intelligence orchestrator (the TAU), we will also utilize some of its more esoteric properties based on toroidal shapes and the Lacanian philosophy of the Imaginary, the Symbolic and the Real to bind intelligence and smartness to be actionable, – but more on this in subsequent articles as we evolve our concept for Existential Intelligence.

In a similar fashion, relationships between people, processes, and platforms in an enterprise can be thought of as Borromean knots. Each link in the knot represents a connection between multiple entities, and these connections can be strengthened or weakened over time. If one of the connections is weakened or broken, the entire knot can collapse, leading to a breakdown in the relationship.

Our endeavor at NUMO is to compose such linkages to be strong, coordinated and resilient. We use an dynamic and iterative process of discovery, design and development to ensure that the various components, processes and people in an enterprise are interconnected in a meaningful way. This provides the basis for strong, sustainable relationships and creates a framework for mutually beneficial collaboration.
