PROLOGUE

No man is an island entire of itself;
every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main.

If a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe s the less,
as well as if a promontory were,
as well as any manner of thy friends or of thine own were.

Any man’s death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind.
And therefore, never send to know for whom the bell tolls;
it tolls for thee.

– For Whom the Bells Toll, John Donne

John Donne’s poem is a reflection on the interconnectedness of humanity and the impact that each person’s life has on others. In the poem, Donne imagines a man hearing a funeral bell and asking whose death it tolls for. Donne’s answer is that because we are all connected, every death affects us all, and therefore, “the bell tolls for thee.” The poem is a poignant reminder that no one is truly alone in the world, and that our lives are woven together in a larger tapestry of human experience. It’s a powerful meditation on the fragility of life and the lasting impact that each person can have on the world around them.

What it means for us as a business…

Building a book for business in Industry 4.0 and 5.0 entails developing partnerships with cloud providers, engineering companies, tools providers and system integrators. For each one of them a go-forward strategy has been/will be created to manage, collaborate with and plan on using their tools and platforms, and future joint developments.

Herewith, we will summarize our key partner relationships to show cause and showcase how it is not an additive force, but a power magnified that will help us propel appropriately into the future.

Numorpho Cybernetic Systems (NUMO) is in the business of building a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) ecosystem in Industry and Services 5.0 to enable infrastructures, manage adaptive engineering and manufacturing, harmonize processes, and create smart, connected, and sustainable products following our mantra to make, manage, move, market and maintain. In short, we enable the creation of custom products and solutions @ scale with minimal reliance on offshore manufacturing and supply chain.

In this paper, we discuss our Strategic Partnerships with icons of the companies that we are in/plan to develop relationships with depicted on a chess board, because isn’t business a game of strategy, anyway?

OBJECTIVE

Partnerships and Collaborations are key to enable future technologies. In this section our Everything Connected series we expand our Strategic Partnerships to detail out our interactions with key organizations, platform providers, engineering services and systems integrators to provide a holistic view of our progression as a company that lock steps our roadmap with solution providers and thought leaders. We are honored to be in such relationships and will be explicitly tagging our defined partners in this post, and we invite you to comment on what you think of our relationship and where we are headed.

Albeit we are building a connected structure, we have discretized our enterprise activities into the following domains:

  1. Ideation and Innovation to tap into organizations, start-ups, and subject matter experts for the entrepreneurial energy.
  2. Engineering and Simulation to utilize high-tech engineering for modeling, analysis, and simulation.
  3. Design for Manufacturing to develop production intent by collaboration with smart manufacturing and IoT providers.
  4. Marketing and Sell for connected commerce for customer-centric enablement, clienteling, service and support.
  5. Generative AI solutions for a contextually training AI/ML basis for employing intelligent solutions based on what we call physmatics – a mélange of physics and mathematics that serves to model, simulate and react to real world situations.

Our organization chart that we defined in the Amalgamated Enterprise article represents this decomposition to enable the right pull-push of information utilizing a unique next generation CRM model to manage the partnerships and relationships.

OUR GOAL

Our goal is to create usable, viable, sensible, and intelligent products, services, and solutions. We partner with select organizations, platform providers, industry leaders and academic institutions to help realize a robust connected ecosystem by:

  • utilizing an end-to-end business and technical architecture blueprint that will enable us to define use cases,
  • exploiting adjacencies and optimizing information flow across domains by using Big Data, Cloud provisioning, Web services API gateways and IoT,
  • making products that surprise, excite and delight by using AI/ML and AR/VR/XR technologies, and
  • developing solutions that are intelligent, secure, reliable, scalable, and resilient by using cyber-secure protocols

in our progression as a civilization to build robust infrastructures of the future.

THE BOARDS FOR COLLABORATION

“There is no point in competing with existing technologies. It is pointless to play chess with a grandmaster. You need to invent your own chess”

– @NVidia’s Speech AI Conference

For a coordinated approach to enable technological innovation, we have devised a chess board called the “Board for Collaboration” to represent partnerships that we have/are establishing in the different domains of process automation. The white squares represent logos of key companies that we are collaborating on aspects of their forays.

The basis of the relationships with our partners is an intentional connection with key players in the ecosystem that we have represented in the white squares of a chess board whose four quadrants depict the focus areas for the domain for enablement. With these partnerships, we aim to revolutionize industries and create a smarter, more connected world.

An example of the Board for Collaboration detailing our partnerships in the field of Additive Manufacturing is depicted below:

Building such a themed interaction model is key for partnerships because it created a tangible representation of our ecosystem and the way in which these companies operate so that interactions can be ascertained and established. It facilitates a deeper understanding of each partner’s background, expertise, capabilities, and potential areas of collaboration.

This themed model fosters a sense of unity and purpose among the participating companies, reinforcing our commitment to jointly navigate the complexities of transforming industries and creating a smarter, more connected world.

PROCESS AUTOMATION DOMAINS

Each of our Boards for Collaboration has a unique purpose – to showcase and celebrate the symbiotic relationships between key companies in the domains of smart manufacturing and smart infrastructure. It follows our Inside-Outside theme:

  1. for the inside to enable smart manufacturing, and
  2. for the outside to be proactive in the smart infrastructure domain.

Linked Solutioning is our basis for collaborations and partnerships with cloud provisioning, tool providers, engineering software, production systems, marketing elements and other 3rd party services like:

  • Cloud Provisioning: Providing access to computing resources, like servers and storage, in a cloud environment, enabling flexibility and scalability for your enterprise.
  • Tool Providers: Partners that offer various software and services to support your business operations, such as project management, communication, and collaboration tools.
  • Engineering Software: Software tools and systems used by engineers to design, develop, test, and analyze complex products and systems.
  • Production Systems: The tools and processes used to manufacture and distribute products, from raw materials to finished goods.
  • Marketing Elements: The various components of a marketing strategy, such as advertising, public relations, and social media.

A high-level summary of this “linked solutioning” boards of collaboration is presented in the diagram below:
NUMO_LinkedSolutioning_BFC

1. SMART MANUFACTURING – Our forays in smart manufacturing will define our key partnerships in the domains of Additive Manufacturing and Industrial Automation.

2. SMART INFRASTRUCTURE – Our positioning in smart infrastructure will define our key partnerships in the domains of Smart City Connect and Environmental Governance

We will also be creating promo boards and swags to show  compositions of coordinated organizations that serve a particular theme. These would include:

  • Showcasing waypoints in Chicago – museums, schools and universities, ball parks and innovation centers.
  • Representing all the DoD Manufacturing Technology organizations including Manufacturing USA, Defense Innovations Unit and Manufacturing Technolgy centers.

Details of each of these are available from the links on the right.
