20230125 – @mHUB Project Management for Product Development

The first in the “mHUB Hardware Product Development Fundamentals” Curriculum, this class covers an overview of General Project Management by explaining two different frameworks that have been successfully deployed across many industries:
  1. Traditional “Phase-Gate” and
  2. the more versatile “Agile”.

Taught by Jim Shaw, the goal is to walk away with from this class with a much better understanding of how to manage teams and tasks, and a framework to launch your product to market on time and on budget.

“If you ask for money, you will get advice but if you ask someone for advice, you might end up getting money.” There are not 3 but 4 Fs that startups need to be mindful of the fourth being Faculty.

Jim Shaw has had a successful career spanning Defense, Commercial products and the Automotive domain, and is now as proprietor of Fastway consults and trains on CAD and CAE. They are also a recent reseller for the Ansys Simulation tool package.
