MxD’s inaugural Quantum Technology Summit was in collaboration with the Bloch Quantum Tech Hub with focus on the intersection of quantum technology and manufacturing to explore its advancements, challenges, and opportunities and discover how it will unlock unprecedented efficiency, precision, and innovation in the manufacturing industry.
Taking about quantum in his keynote address, Governor Pritzker mentioned that it is a “30-year overnight success” alluding to the difficulties we still have in creating quantum machines. MxD was also honored to host Senator Dick Durbin at the inaugural MxD Quantum Technology Summit to discuss integrating quantum technology into manufacturing processes. The visit to MxD comes on the heels of Governor Pritzker announcing a new partnership between the federal government and Illinois—Quantum Proving Ground—to promote quantum computing research, development, and manufacturing in the state.
