The Industry Networks Day was a whole day event hosted by the Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering at the University of Chicago.
Thank you, Dr. Felix Lu for inviting me. I enjoyed the breakfast chats, keynotes and panel discussions, the roundtable lunch talks, brainstorming and the after-hour conversations.

Events such as these bring together academia and industry where professors, students and industry practitioners partake in a insightful discussion on how we can partner to provide for a uniform progression in our forays with new technologies like deep-tech, quantum, AI, new material sciences and nano technologies, and their combinations. It was great meeting with Pete Dulcamara (Redefining the Meaning of Billionaire), Mounir Alafrangy (NASA Analog Astronaut) and others at the event:
- Jag Alexeyev
- David A. Chang-Yen
- Daniel Holz
- Elizabeth Koprucki
- Nadya Mason
- Ajay Vonkarey
The Pritzker engineering school is uniquely positioned with its cross-domain focus and its amazing clean room lab and proximity to MRSEC lab (thank you Justin Jureller for the wonderful tour).
We will be posting a detailed summary of the event in our book-of-business web site at Numorpho Cybernetic Systems (NUMO) that will go into the nitty gritty details of material compositions for additive manufacturing that we are researching on partnering with Carolyn Carta, MS, PhD and Edu Sciammarella.
